Somewhere in the slightly different choices, in the split from where the flower fills with blood, a woman finds romance repulsive. In this repulsion an obsession develops and she feels compelled to paint her self portrait. The paint and lead begin coursing in her womb and through her hands. As the image grows less and less like her, her world splits and shatters. What is a miraculous pregnancy without an obliviating birth?
