The sampling techniques used to mimic guitars is both overwhelming and blissful, which compliments the concept of the album wonderfully. while feeling somewhat familiar to the genre of shoegaze GODDEXX creates a sound that is truly incomparably beautiful and perplexing, making this album a truly essential listen. Layer after layer of her soul is peeled back to reveal thousands of hallucinogenic lives of indescribable awe. She is both transmuted into something new and endlessly giving birth to herself. The miraculous is also dangerous, the beautiful also terrifying. How can you remain human when God itself is shown to you?
